Green Investment Schemes (GIS)

Until June 2010, the Austrian JI/CDM Programme, concluded five GIS contracts amounting to a volume of 9,91 million tonnes of emission reduction units in total. The vintages run into emission reduction projects like thermal insulation of buildings and the use of renewable energy technology.
