Green Investment Schemes (GIS)

Until November 2009, the Austrian JI/CDM Programme, concluded three GIS contracts amounting to a volume of 7 million tonnes of emission reduction units in total. The vintages run into emission reduction projects like thermal insulation of buildings and the use of renewable energy technology.
