Green Investment Schemes (GIS)

Until May 2012, the Austrian JI/CDM Programme, concluded seven GIS contracts amounting to a volume of 16,91 million tonnes of emission reduction units in total. The vintages run into emission reduction projects like thermal insulation of buildings and the use of renewable energy technology.
