PIN preparation

At the beginning the applicant often prepares a Project Idea Note (PIN). A PIN is a short project description and contains the basic details of the project.

Handing over the PIN to the Programme ManagementAt this first stage it is intended to verify, in principle, that the project will qualify as a JI/CDM project. It will be assessed if the emission reductions which will be generated through the project can be counted towards the fulfilment of the Austrian emission reduction target.
PIN & Letter of No Objection (LoNO) (if applicable)

  • an assessment of the indications given by the Applicant in a PIN and
